Notification of increase in professional fees

It has been roughly 3 years since we reviewed our fee structure. As with any other business, our overheads have rather relentlessly increased and reluctantly we have to pass some of those costs onto our clients.

We seek to build lasting partnerships with innovation-driven growing businesses – and, as such, do not seek to stifle growth through needlessly weighty legal costs.

We strive to undertake all work as cost-effectively as we can, we frequently provide capped fees or fee estimates upfront and will continue to do so.

In addition, our continued investment in software and systems means we are in many cases far more efficient and effective than our competitors.

Our services and legal support mean:

Specialism – IP is all we do. We’re the fastest and most effective IP solution

Experience – Our senior team has over 50+ years of experience in IP

Commerciality – We believe that well protected and commercialised IP means making your business more profitable

Capped fee- Budgets already given remain unchanged and we will continue to cap fees where appropriate

I offer my assurance that, despite this uptick, you will find no better value as it relates to legal support – as my commitment, as it always has been, is to your success.

However, following a comprehensive review, we have little choice but to increase our hourly rates by 10%.

We shall also be making modest management charges for some of our trade mark and design right portfolio management fees.

Do email me at liz@virtuosolegal.com if you have any questions or concerns.
