Jordan Davies works at Virtuoso Legal as a trainee solicitor, focusing on all things IP having joined the firm in October 2017 after a remarkable work experience stint. Jordan graduated her LLB from Leeds Beckett University with first class honours. Jordan has also graduated with a distinction in Legal Practice also from Leeds Beckett, in July 2017.
Jordan started her training contract in May 2017, with her first seat in Personal Injury at Cohen Cramer. During her prior training and experience, Jordan has received several awards and accolades (see below). Jordan received a distinction in her LLM (Master of Laws) course at Leeds Beckett which focuses on researching blocking injunctions as a remedy for online copyright infringement.
Jordan first developed her interest in IP through her university studies; focusing on not only the traditional IP rights (trade marks, copyright, patents and design rights); but also data protection, domain names and online copyright-protected file sharing. She has completed work experience in IP teams within two large commercial law firms during the course of her studies. Jordan maintains an interest in both contentious and non-contentious IP – but has a particular interest in brand growth, management and protection through use of trade marks.
Jordan assists the intellecual property solicitors at Virtuoso Legal across each of our contentious and non-contentious intellectual property teams.
